Conrad Nagoya Opens as Hilton Luxury Debut

Hilton has opened the Conrad Nagoya, marking the debut of its luxury Conrad Hotels & Resorts brand in the city and expanding its high-end portfolio in Japan. The property joins a network of 51 Conrad hotels operating across five continents. Future additions to the brand’s Japanese footprint will include locations in Yokohama and Kobe.

Location and Design

The hotel occupies the upper floors of The Landmark Nagoya Sakae, the tallest skyscraper in the Sakae district, and connects directly to Sakae Station. Guests have nearby access to Nagoya Castle and Atsuta Shrine, while the property also serves as a jumping-off point for trips to Ise and Takayama. Nagoya itself is known as a manufacturing center with a food scene that draws regional visitors and centuries-old craft traditions.

Dining Options

Six restaurants and bars operate across the 31st and 40th floors. SUNDROP functions as a lobby lounge and bar serving afternoon tea, cocktails, and internationally influenced dishes under natural light. CASA OLIVA focuses on Italian cuisine with a wine list spanning more than 100 Italian labels. SONGBIRD provides specialty coffee, pastries, and seasonal sweets.

SORYU, on the 40th floor, offers a contemporary sushi kaiseki experience informed by traditional methods. SOEN serves teppan kaiseki rooted in Japanese culinary practice. HOUSE OF MON operates as a rooftop bar with craft cocktails and sweeping city views. The range reflects an effort to present both local and international influences within a single property.
